Privacy Policy

Just Habits is built on a simple principle: your habit data is yours and yours alone.
What data we collect
The Just Habits app does not collect, transmit, or store any of your habit data on our servers. Your habits are stored on your device. Android system backup may include them if enabled; on Apple devices, they can sync through your own iCloud account.
Where your data is stored
On Android, habit data is stored locally on your device. If system backup is enabled, Android can back up your habits and settings to your Google account and restore them during installation or device setup. Manage this through your device backup settings. On Apple devices, habit data is stored locally using Apple’s SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your devices through your own iCloud account, encrypted by Apple and managed by you.
Analytics and tracking
The Just Habits app does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, or tracking pixels. We do not know how often you open the app or which habits you track.
This website uses Abner for privacy-friendly website analytics. Abner collects anonymous, aggregated data about page visits — it does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal information. This analytics data helps us understand how people find and use this website. It has no connection to the app or your habit data.
Third-party services
The Apple app uses Apple’s built-in services:
- iCloud — for syncing your data across your devices (optional, controlled by you)
- StoreKit — for processing your one-time $4.99 purchase through the App Store
- UserNotifications — for habit reminders you set (processed entirely on your device)
The Android app uses Google Play Billing for optional purchases, Android notifications for habit reminders, and Android system backup when enabled. It does not use iCloud.
This website also uses Abner for anonymous website analytics (see above).
Your data, your control
- Export: You can export all your habit data as a CSV file at any time from Settings.
- Delete: Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.
- No account: There is no account to delete because there is no account to create.
Children’s privacy
Just Habits does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Given that we don’t collect data, changes are unlikely.
